May our God count us worthy of our calling.  God has chosen you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and faith in the truth.  14  It was for this that He called you through the gospel, that you/we may gain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.  What a beautiful reading we share today!  

2Thes 2:10-14  when He comes to be glorified in His saints on that day, and to be marveled at among all who have believed — for our testimony to you was believed.  11  To this end also we pray for you always, that our God will count you worthy of your calling, and fulfill every desire for goodness and the work of faith with power,  12  so that the name of our Lord Jesus will be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.  13   But we should always give thanks to God for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God has chosen you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and faith in the truth.  14  It was for this He called you through our gospel, that you may gain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Our Prayer:
Even now, O Lord God, may we glorify Your Son, and marvel at His place in Your saving us!
Thank You for loving us so abundantly and continually.  We praise You, Father God.  Keep our hearts pure and centered on You through Your Beloved  Son!  May we gain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.   We pray in His name,   Amen.
